Which details and why?
When you request a ride, we only ask what we need to plan and carry out your ride:
- pick-up address, destination, date and time, number of passengers and suitcases;
- your name and phone number, so the driver can reach you;
- optionally your email address and notes (such as a flight number or invoice details).
We use these details to answer your request, carry out the ride and, if you ask for it, issue an invoice. The legal basis is the performance of the contract or the steps before it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for invoices, our legal accounting obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
How does the form work?
The form on this website does not store or send anything itself. It prepares a message that you send yourself via WhatsApp or your own email app. Your message then reaches us through that service (WhatsApp by Meta, or the email service of your choice and ours).
Who receives your details?
Only we do, and where needed our accountant for invoices. We never sell or rent your details. The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (United States), which keeps technical server logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure. For visitor statistics we use Google (Google Ireland Limited). Netlify and Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, with appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Visitor statistics (Google Analytics)
To know how many people visit the site and which buttons they use, we measure with Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager. We measure the pages you view, where you came from (for example Google), your browser and device type, your language, an approximate location (derived from your IP address; Google Analytics does not store the IP address itself) and whether you use the phone number, WhatsApp, email or the booking form. We never send the content of your request: no name, address, date or message.
With your consent, Google Analytics sets cookies for this (see the cookie policy). Before you choose and if you decline, it sets no cookies and does not recognise you. The site does load Google Tag Manager in that case: your browser connects to Google, which technically receives your IP address and browser details, and Analytics receives a limited signal without a cookie or identifier (such as the page, and that you did not consent).
We only use this data to improve the site: no advertising features, no Google Signals and no link with other data. Google processes it as our processor; in our account settings, sharing with Google's own products and services is switched off. The legal basis for cookies is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page; the limited signal without cookies is based on our legitimate interest in knowing roughly how the site is used. How long do we keep them?
Requests and messages: 12 months after the ride. Invoices are kept for as long as the law requires. Visitor statistics are kept in Google Analytics for 14 months; the Google Analytics cookies stay on your device for at most 2 years, or until you delete them or withdraw your consent.
Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your details, restrict or object to their processing, and request them in a common format. Send a message to info@antwerpluxurytransport.be. Not satisfied? You can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
